yes to smartboards!

This class was the first time I heard of and used smartboard. I thought that it was very fun, and a nice way for classroom interaction. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that you have to write straight, or your writing doesn't come out clear. Other than that, I would definitely use them in my classroom for math problems, correcting sentences, and like in class, playing review games. I think this is a great way to introduce students to technology and is a new and fun way to get the students involved in the class. I also like the fact that you can turn their writing into typed words so it is more eligible writing.

It is very important for schools to assist all the students. If only a couple of students need a certain type of technology to help them succeed, I feel the schools should invest the money for that student. Schools are made to help and push students to new limits and if there are a few students falling behind, the schools need to do what ever they can to help those students.

I was introduced to smart board in high school, but not much was done with it. I think the smart board would be helpful to use in classes such as english and math. I would use the smart board t possibly have the students edit examples of english work, and to conduct math problems. I think this would be very helpful in the classroom!

I have not used SMART board anywhere else but the times in class, but i guess i would use for certain lessons. One thing that comes to my mind is to use it during D.O.L (daily oral language). I would write a sentence on the SMART board that had errors in it and the students would have to correct it. They would come up to the smart board and either have to cross off what is wrong, add something, or rewrite a miss spelled word.

I have no experience with a SMARTBOARD, except for the day in our class that we wrote our names on it, so I know little about what it can actually be used for. It seems like it might be very beneficial if you are working on a group discussion and are brainstorming with the class. It also seems like it would be good to use in a math lesson.
