If I were to use a SMART board in class I would use it probably for review sessions in like a trivia sort of way. I could also use it to pose questions after a lesson is taught or at some points throughout the lesson. This would keep the students actively involved with the lesson and would allow them to get up and move around during the lessons. It would make learning more fun because they are actively involved.

If I had a Smart-board in my classroom I would use it throughout the curriculum. The Smart-board is very interactive for students and the teacher. It allows students to brainstorm their ideas without the use of the paper/pencil format. Students can also easily write, point, and illustrate their ideas through the Smart-board. I think it is a great way for students to stay interested. It also eliminates problems for students with allergies. No more chalk dust or the odor from dry erase markers to get in the way of students learning!

IDT class was the first time I have ever heard of a SMART board. I was surprised to know that students as young as Kindergarten use this technology. I would definitly use this in my classroom if I have one in the future. This is a great way to get students to interact in the class instead of listening to a teacher lecture or watch a powerpoint.

yes to smartboards!
This class was the first time I heard of and used smartboard. I thought that it was very fun, and a nice way for classroom interaction. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that you have to write straight, or your writing doesn't come out clear. Other than that, I would definitely use them in my classroom for math problems, correcting sentences, and like in class, playing review games. I think this is a great way to introduce students to technology and is a new and fun way to get the students involved in the class. I also like the fact that you can turn their writing into typed words so it is more eligible writing.

It is very important for schools to assist all the students. If only a couple of students need a certain type of technology to help them succeed, I feel the schools should invest the money for that student. Schools are made to help and push students to new limits and if there are a few students falling behind, the schools need to do what ever they can to help those students.
I was introduced to smart board in high school, but not much was done with it. I think the smart board would be helpful to use in classes such as english and math. I would use the smart board t possibly have the students edit examples of english work, and to conduct math problems. I think this would be very helpful in the classroom!
